Expert Troubleshooting
Scientific explanations and research-based solutions for common tempered glass questions.
Fingerprint Sensor Issues Critical
Solution: Allow the screen protector to settle for 24 hours. This curing time is necessary for the adhesive to fully bond and for microscopic air pockets to dissipate.
After 24 hours, delete your old fingerprint profiles and re-register them. This recalibrates the sensor to the new surface depth.
Air Bubbles
Bubbles occur when dust is trapped or air doesn't escape during application. Most small bubbles will disappear within 24–48 hours as the adhesive settles naturally.
Fix: Use your thumb to push the bubble towards the nearest edge. If it refuses to move, gently lift the glass slightly from the nearest corner until the air releases, then let it fall back into place.
Glass Sizing & "Case Friendly" Fit
You may notice the glass is slightly smaller than your phone's screen. This is a deliberate design choice, not a defect.
Why Did The Glass Break?
Tempered glass is designed as a sacrificial layer. Its sole job is to absorb the kinetic energy of an impact so your expensive phone screen doesn't have to.
